WHAT YOU’LL DO

As our Brand Designer, your primary focus will be on shaping and refining all brand-related materials and the overall visual language of the Mayda brand. As a custodian of Mayda's visual identity, you will ensure that every visual element, from pitch presentations and event invitations to website art direction and our broad, cross-platform online presence all consistently showcase and reflect Mayda's aesthetic standards and brand identity.

You'll be responsible for creating and enhancing Mayda's branding materials across various mediums, translating creative concepts into impactful visual representations. Your role will require a deep understanding of design principles and the ability to apply them across a broad range of styles and requirements. You will have an excellent design sense and the ability to communicate your ideas effectively.

  • Visual Person - you have great visual references and are able to pull imagery that compliments the brief.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 
  • 1-2+ years of experience as a graphic designer, or are a recent graduate from a design program.
  • Superior verbal and written communication and editing skills.
  • Skilled in typography and layout.
  • Proficient in Microsoft, Adobe, and Google applications and are also interested in learning new software and tools as they become available.
  • Comfortable managing through influence and juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in a rapidly growing company environment.
