We are The Mayda Creative Co., a creative studio applying diverse expertise to content production, design and technology. United by design-thinking, we blend strategy, artistry, and production to move our clients in advertising, entertainment and technology forward. We ideate, develop, and create across three areas of focus: Commercials & Branded Content, Activations & Experiences, and Entertainment & IP.

As a Motion Designer at Mayda, you will work closely with our in-house creative and production team to execute on a variety of creative briefs and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on conceptualizing and look-development for incoming briefs and pitches.
  • Create high-quality 3D animations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced studio environment.
  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and apply best practices to enhance creative output.


  • 2+ years of design studio experience.
  • Proficient in C4D, using Redshift and/or Octane, as well as the Adobe suite including After Effects.
  • Interest in other industry tools such as Houdini, Unreal and Blender is favorable.
  • Demonstrated understanding of design and motion principles - composition, color, texture, pacing, etc.
  • Detail oriented and comfortable providing project updates as well as seek team/lead creative feedback. 
  • Comfortable managing through influence and juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in a rapidly growing, collaborative company environment. 
  • Have a comprehensive portfolio showcasing 3D design and animation work.
